Sailing a boat calls for quick action, a blending of feeling with the wind and water as well as with the very heart and soul of the boat itself. Sailing teaches alertness and courage, and gives in return a joyousness and peace that but few sports afford.

Racing is an important part of Edgewood Yacht Club. From children sailing their first Opti regatta, to racing around the buoys on Tuesday nights, to Wednesday evening classic Beetlecat racing, to Sunday Sunfish racing just off the dock (a spectator favorite), to cold-weather racing with our intrepid Frostbite fleet, to long distance racing around the Bay and beyond, there is something for almost everyone at Edgewood.
Tuesday night racing NOR, results and other important information can be found HERE.
